Job Description:

The job involves collaborating with clients, designing, implementing, and optimizing networking solutions, and staying current with emerging technologies. The position requires strong analytical and communication skills, knowledge of networking principles, and relevant certifications. Regular on-site visits and occasional weekend/evening work may be required.

Job Responsibility:

Collaborate with clients to assess their networking needs and provide tailored solutions
Design, configure, and implement networking solutions, including LAN, (SD)WAN, and wireless networks
Create and maintain detailed documentation of network configurations, changes, and troubleshooting steps
Demonstrate networking best practices and new technologies to customers and internal teams
Manage and prioritize multiple projects, ensuring timely and successful completion
Ensure network solutions adhere to industry standards and security protocols
Stay current with emerging networking technologies and trends to provide innovative solutions
Drive, structure and facilitate complex customer migrations with minimal disruptions
Diagnose and resolve complex networking issues, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
3–5 years of experience in networking roles, with a focus on design, implementation, and troubleshooting
Aruba Networking Certified Professional or equivalent professional level networking certifications/proven track record
Proficiency in network protocols, routing, and switching
Main focus on Campus networking like LAN, WLAN and NAC
Knowledge of PKI, AD/EntraID, hypervisors is a plus
Experience with network security practices and tools (firewalls, proxies, load-balancers, VPNs, etc.)
Multivendor knowledge is a plus
Familiarity with network monitoring and diagnostic tools
Knowledge of cloud networking (AWS, Azure) is a plus
Passion for IT and networking
Strong consulting mindset/attitude
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Client-focused with a commitment to delivering high-quality service
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Languages: Dutch/French + English

Nice to have:

Knowledge of PKI, AD/EntraID, hypervisors
Multivendor knowledge
Knowledge of cloud networking (AWS, Azure)
