The role involves developing account plans, managing accounts, focusing on larger deals, and building strong professional relationships with key IT and business executives.

Job Responsibility:

  • develop account plans and long-term sales pipeline
  • manage accounts in person and/or remotely
  • focus on larger deals/opportunities
  • work with leadership to develop future business plans
  • build strong professional relationships with key IT and business executives
  • generate new business and manage sales pipeline activity
  • direct and coordinate all account activity
  • achieve/manage quota and maintain sales pipeline tool

Requirements:

  • University or Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • extensive selling and commercial account management experience in a related industry
  • highly knowledgeable in a product area (for example servers, storage)
  • strong high-level relationship building and negotiation skills
  • ability to appreciate the customer's business issues and translate to solutions
