Job Description:

Job Responsibility:

Provide Primary and Family evidence-based care including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, management of health problems, health counseling, and disposition planning for patients
Perform administrative duties such as clinic opening/closing, inventory management, patient follow-up, verifying insurance, collecting payment
Maintain a clean environment
Handle patient appointments and perform routine examinations
Conduct diagnostic tests to diagnose and treat injuries or illnesses
Coordinate with other healthcare professionals to maintain comprehensive care plans
Encourage patients to actively participate in healthcare and well-being through health screenings, behavioral health and wellness services.

Requirements:

Minimum of one year experience as a Nurse Practitioner is required
Experience in Family medicine or primary care practice preferred
Active Family Nurse practitioner license in good standing
Order and administer immunizations and injections (COVID19, influenza, TB, Depo, etc.) and provide evidence-based patient/parent vaccine counseling and education
Minimum of two years of medically relevant experience or equivalent
Complete the DOT certification exam within 30 days of employment
Proficiency in additional languages (e.g., Spanish)
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, including performing CPR and operating an Automated External Defibrillator (AED)
Pass a FIT test and wear the provided respirator mask when protocol requires.
