Job Description:

In a full-time role, you will provide comprehensive primary care by assessing, diagnosing, treating, and managing health problems for patients within the MinuteClinic. Responsibilities include administrative tasks, diagnostic testing, counseling, and health education. Job Responsibility:

Provide evidenced-based primary and family care including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and management of health problems
Handle patient appointments and perform routine examinations
Speak with patients about healthy lifestyle choices
Perform diagnostic tests and coordinate with other healthcare professionals
Encourage patients to actively participate in their healthcare and well-being
Provide administrative duties including clinic opening/closing, inventory management, patient follow-up, insurance verification, payment collection, and maintaining cleanliness.

Requirements:

A minimum of one year experience as a Nurse Practitioner is required
Experience in Family medicine or primary care practice preferred
Active Family Nurse practitioner license in good standing
Provide holistic, evidenced-based care inclusive of accurate assessment, diagnosis, treatment, management of health problems, health counseling, and disposition planning
Order and administer immunizations and injections
Minimum of two years of medically relevant experience or equivalent
Complete the DOT certification exam within 30 days of employment
Depending on the market, the ability to be proficient in both speaking and writing in additional languages (e.g., Spanish)
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Pass a FIT test and wear a respirator mask when required.
