Nurse Practitioner - NP Primary Care

• Provide Primary and Family evidence-based care including accurate assessment, diagnosis, treatment, management of health problems, health counseling, and disposition planning for patients
• Provide administrative duties such as opening/closing the clinic, inventory, patient follow up, verifying insurance and collecting payment, maintaining a clean environment
• Handle patient appointments and perform routine examinations
• Speak with patients about healthy lifestyle choices
• Complete diagnostic tests to help diagnose and treat patients for injuries or illnesses
• Coordinate with other healthcare professionals to maintain a comprehensive plan of care
• Encourage patients to become active participants in their health and well-being

• A minimum of one year experience as a Nurse Practitioner is required
• Experience in family medicine or primary care practice preferred
• Active Family Nurse practitioner license in good standing
• Provide holistic, evidenced-based care inclusive of accurate assessment, diagnosis, treatment, management of health problems, health counseling, and disposition planning
• Order and administer immunizations and injections
• Minimum of two years of medically relevant experience or equivalent
• Complete the DOT certification exam within 30 days of employment
• Proficiency in speaking and writing in Spanish is preferred but not required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification including CPR and operating an AED
• Pass a FIT test and wear the provided respirator mask when protocol requires
