Job Description:

A busy architectural practice based near Wapping is looking to recruit an enthusiastic and dedicated Office Junior/ Studio Assistant to join their team. This is a busy and varied role with duties including making sure the Hub space is set up, setting up catering, making refreshments, ordering stock, looking after plants, ensuring the print area and studio floors are clean and tidy, sorting post, reception cover, answering telephones, photocopying, binding, filing, running errands, lifting and carrying heavy goods, and assisting with recycling initiatives.

Job Responsibility:

Making sure our Hub space is set up for breakfast, healthy snacks and weekly staff lunches
Setting up catering for internal meetings, staff socials and lunch time training sessions
Making refreshments for meetings
Ordering stock for the kitchen and print area
Looking after/watering the studios plants
Ensuring the print area and studio floors are always well stocked, clean and tidy
Sorting post
Reception & front of house cover
Answering telephones & message taking
Photocopying
Binding
Filing
Running errands
Lifting and carrying heavy goods (e.g. stationary, furniture, boxes etc)
Assist with recycling initiatives

Requirements:

hardworking
proactive
prepared to get their hands dirty
polite telephone manner
good verbal and written communication skills
good knowledge of MS Word & MS Excel

Nice to have:

good knowledge of MS Word & MS Excel
