We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for an Office Manager in Eden Prairie, Minnesota. The individual will be a key player in our team, handling a range of responsibilities from project support to accounting tasks. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth running of operations in the construction industry.
Job Responsibility:
Utilize QuickBooks to manage financial tasks, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all accounting functions
Oversee the processing of purchase orders, maintaining a systematic tracking system for all transactions
Support project managers by managing and tracking project-related purchase orders
Undertake tasks related to Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) to maintain financial integrity
Assist in streamlining and standardizing QuickBooks operations to improve efficiency
Handle job costing tasks to ensure accurate construction accounting and cost management
Code invoices accurately, ensuring all financial records are up-to-date
Adapt to evolving business needs and take on additional responsibilities as required
Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar Office Manager role
Demonstrated knowledge of Accounting Functions
Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
Familiarity with QuickBooks and QuickBooks Enterprise
Understanding of Job Cost processes
Experience in Construction Accounting is preferred
Ability to handle Purchase Orders efficiently
Experience in Coding Invoices is a must
Nice to have:
Experience in Construction Accounting
