Job Description:

The Operational Risk Assurance Team supports the Global Operational Risk function by defining and maintaining Methodologies, Frameworks for undertaking Credible Challenge of First Line of Defense across all business, operational risks categories within Citi. The team additionally oversees the execution of the Challenges undertaken by the Operational Risk Management (ORM) function and also undertakes Quality Assurance over ORM’s own activities.

Job Responsibility:

Establish and oversee the application and implementation of ORM Independent Assurance Methodology
Contribute and undertake certain governance processes such as annual planning, change management of annual plans
Provide challenge to the ORM coverage and Risk SME teams for Independent Challenge activities
Serve as a subject matter expert for Independent Assurance
Co-ordinate and manage stakeholder engagements within wider Risk organization
Collaborate with the Coverage Team and provide guidance and resolve issues in delivery of Independent Assurance Plan
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made

Requirements:

Substantial years of experience in Internal Audit, Operational Risk Assurance or Compliance Assurance
In depth knowledge of Assurance Methodologies, technology platforms supporting Operational Risk Management
Outstanding communication and influencing skills through all levels of the organization and with external partners and vendors
Exceptional relationship management skills
Ability to effectively communicate complex topics to a broad audience
Detail oriented mindset with analytical skills
Expert in Microsoft Office Tools
Bachelor’s/University degree, Master’s degree preferred
