Job Description:

The role involves various financial and administrative tasks to support the operations of a financial institution or department. The successful candidate will collaborate with team members and other stakeholders to ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in operational processes.

Job Responsibility:

  • Ensure efficient and accurate processing of daily team workload
  • Carry out daily preparation and reconciliation tasks in a timely and accurate manner
  • Confirm, send and reconcile trade files prior to daily deadline
  • Handle departmental ACH and Wire requests, including verification and approval
  • Assign and analyze service and research requests trends
  • Report and track process improvement implementation
  • Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) and first escalation point for the department
  • Manage internal projects to meet set deadlines and ensure understanding and buy-in from internal and external stakeholders
  • Implement and manage employee training and development programs
  • Mentor and train entry level team members within the department
  • Ensure compliance with company and department Policies and SOPs
  • Work with management on process, policy, and SOP improvements
  • Facilitate open and direct dialogues with team members to identify department improvements, career goals, and employee development
  • Use Microsoft Excel for various tasks, including account reconciliation

Requirements:

  • Must have proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including knowledge of advanced functions and formulas
  • Experience in account reconciliation is required, preferably in a financial setting
  • Familiarity with financial services industry and its associated regulations and standards
  • Demonstrated ability to process high volumes of transactions accurately
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies in data
  • Exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with team members and other departments
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • Proven problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field is preferred
