Job Description:

Responsible to perform operations of handling raw, unloading/transfer, receiving, record, identification, support sampling, storage and issuance of chemical raw material. Perform these tasks in compliance with safety plant policies and SOP's as part of a team committed to improving healthcare outcomes.

Job Responsibility:

Receives, records, identifies, and stores chemical raw materials
Unloading and transfer of raw materials for analysis
Perform physical inventory and transactions entries in Baxter electronic inventory systems of chemical raw materials
Provides support to Manufacturing and Quality Assurance areas for materials handling and approvals
Performs chemical raw material sampling for QA analysis and testing
Prepare shipping documents for tank trucks return to suppliers
Follows all Safety Plant Policies and SOP's
Other tank farm area related tasks

Requirements:

Technical Diploma or Associated Degree
One (1) to three (3) years’ experience
Ability to read and understand English & Spanish
Basic GMP knowledge
Computer Literate (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Ability to operate electronic equipment
Capable of operating automatic and semi-automatic equipment
Must possess good record keeping skills
Must be able to work rotating shifts, weekends and holidays
Add, subtract, multiply, divide and calculate percentages
Able to use a calculator or other associated electronic equipment
Ability to follow written procedures and/or verbal instructions communications by telephone, fax or shortwave radios
Ability to understand technical drawings
