Job Description:

The Outreach Associate is responsible for developing relationships in the community and scheduling appointments for Medicare-eligible seniors to join Oak Street Health, addressing underserved healthcare communities through a value-based approach to care.

Job Responsibility:

  • Generate high-quality leads by engaging Medicare-eligible seniors through event execution
  • Schedule first appointments with interested and eligible prospects
  • Maintain knowledge of internal sales systems and organizational goals
  • Collaborate with Community Relationship Manager, Outreach Executive, and Outreach Manager/Director to drive lead generation with local community members
  • Collaborate with central growth and call center teams
  • Develop strong relationships with prospects across the assigned territory
  • Capture and record customer information and sales activity in CRM systems
  • Act as a point of contact for central call center teams
  • Resolve concerns and complaints from prospects
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Ability to quickly connect with and influence the right people
  • Comfort with personal sales goals and results tracking
  • Team player and contributor to the overall effectiveness of the team
  • Inclination to work in a results oriented role
  • Comfortable with navigating external barriers to create a positive experience
  • Basic computer skills, including clear electronic communication management and documentation of prospect interactions
  • Experience managing through a CRM system, ideally Salesforce, a plus
  • Sales and/or healthcare experience a plus
  • Access to reliable transportation to travel between events
  • Ability to lift 25-45 lbs for event set-up
  • Ability to occasionally work outside of standard business hours
  • Fluency in Spanish, Polish, Russian, or other languages spoken by people in the communities served
  • US work authorization

Nice to have:

  • Sales and/or healthcare experience
  • Experience managing through a CRM system, ideally Salesforce
  • Fluency in Spanish, Polish, Russian, or other languages spoken by people in the communities served
