Job Description:

A prestigious and fast-paced Mass Tort Law Practice is seeking a skilled Paralegal to join their team. This role involves managing high-volume caseloads, communicating with clients, analyzing medical records, and preparing legal documents.

Job Responsibility:

Caseload Management: Manage a robust caseload of over 1,000 client cases, organizing documentation and maintaining meticulous records to provide efficient and effective legal support
Client Communication: Serve as a point of contact for clients, regularly communicating via phone, email, and written correspondence. Provide thoughtful updates, promptly address inquiries, and ensure client satisfaction throughout the legal process
Medical Record Analysis: Examine and analyze medical records to identify key evidence and insights to support case development and strategy
Legal Document Preparation: Draft, review, and finalize key legal documents, enabling attorneys to provide exceptional legal services to clients
Compassionate Interviews: Conduct thorough and sensitive interviews with survivors of sexual assault, gathering detailed information while providing a compassionate and professional environment.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a paralegal in a high-volume or mass tort law practice is preferred
Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail and the ability to manage large caseloads
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a client-focused and empathetic approach
Experience reviewing medical records and gathering case evidence is highly desirable
Ability to maintain professionalism, discretion, and sensitivity when handling cases of a personal and sensitive nature
Proficiency in legal software, case management tools, and general office applications.
