Job Description:

We are in search of a diligent Paralegal to be part of our team situated in Saint Louis, Missouri. In this role, you will be instrumental in managing legal documentation, case administration, and research, thereby ensuring our legal department operates effectively.

Job Responsibility:

  • Efficiently manage and maintain litigation caseloads, prioritizing tasks according to urgency and adhering to strict deadlines
  • Gather and produce documents, prepare case files for court, and proofread/edit legal drafts and correspondence for consistency and accuracy
  • Update and maintain litigation schedules, hearing dates, and deadlines to support attorney workflows
  • Organize and keep litigation files, spreadsheets, and databases, ensuring easy access and adherence to internal practices and confidentiality policies
  • Provide administrative support to attorneys, manage their schedules, and coordinate continuing legal education (CLE) requirements
  • Execute electronic filing in state and federal courts, administrative agencies, and other legal entities, using platforms like ECF/PACER
  • Assist in the creation of litigation hold letters, review procedural guidelines, and draft summaries or reports for attorney review
  • Act as a liaison between attorneys, clients, courts, and opposing counsel when necessary
  • Utilize case management software to streamline tasks and increase efficiency
  • Maintain confidentiality and demonstrate initiative in fast-paced environments
  • Use legal tools such as Westlaw, ECF/PACER, Relativity, Docusign, and CounselLink
  • Show strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Exhibit exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Manage the calendaring and docketing of important dates and deadlines
  • Oversee the filing and briefing processes in litigation cases

  • Strong skills in Legal Research
  • Experience in Litigation - Plaintiff
  • Familiarity with e-Filing systems
  • Experience with Court Filings
  • Proficiency in Litigation - Filing
  • Demonstrable skills in Case Management
  • Experience in Calendaring
  • Knowledge of Calendar - Docket procedures
  • Ability to maintain and organize Files effectively
