Job Description:

We are in the process of recruiting a skilled Paralegal to be an integral part of our team, based in Saint Louis, Missouri. In this role, you will be tasked with a range of responsibilities, such as handling estate planning, tax, and probate matters.

Job Responsibility:

Efficiently handle the process of trusts, including tasks like administration, funding, and issuing notices
Take charge of the preparation of estate planning documents and related trust funding
Manage the estate tax returns, gift tax returns, individual and fiduciary income tax returns (1041, 1065 and 706)
Oversee probate administration by handling tasks such as opening and closing estates, e-filing, preparing accountings, and managing asset transfers
Maintain efficient communication with clients and advisors
Utilize case management software for accurate and efficient work
Display an understanding of estate planning principles and trust funding procedures
Coordinate with clients' financial advisors about beneficiary designation forms
Ensure high volume priorities are managed effectively while working with others to meet deadlines

Requirements:

Proficiency in using Case Management Software
Exceptional Communication skills
Knowledge of Tax - Trust & Estate
Experience with Revocable Trusts
Deep understanding of Trusts and Estates
Familiarity with Probate procedures
Expertise in Probate & Estate Administration
Thorough knowledge of Probate Law
Experience in handling Probate Litigation
Ability to e-File documents
Experience with e-Filing systems
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and Adobe
Attention to detail and good judgment in all tasks
