Job Description:

Twin Cities law firm seeks an experienced Paralegal for a permanent career opportunity. As a Paralegal, you will be instrumental in managing personal injury cases, interacting with clients and other professionals, and contributing to all facets of client advocacy.

Job Responsibility:

Manage and keep personal injury case files organized
Handle scheduling for hearings and depositions
Coordinate medical examinations related to cases
Procure necessary medical records for case progression
Compile information for mediation and trial booklets
Engage in thorough preparation for mediations and trials
E-File documents with District Courts
Communicate effectively with clients, insurance adjusters, and medical professionals
Draft legal documents as required by the case
Perform additional tasks as directed by the attorney

Requirements:

2+ years as Legal Assistant or Paralegal in law firm setting, ideally dealing with medical records
Willingness to work 5 days in the Minneapolis Office
Strong Communication skills for interacting with clients, attorneys, and court personnel
Preferred candidates will have knowledge of personal injury law, including understanding of relevant legal procedures and terminology
Proficiency in using Electronic Medical Record systems to access and manage client health information
Ability to draft legal documents, such as demand letters, motions, and other court filings
