Robert Half is seeking a temporary-to-permanent paralegal to support our team in managing a multidistrict litigation matter. This fast-paced, detail-oriented role involves document review, electronic filing, data management, and litigation team coordination.
Job Responsibility:
Document Review: Analyze discovery materials, identify relevant information, and input data into Excel spreadsheets
Electronic Filing: Handle filings in MDL and NYSCEF platforms
Data Management: Organize, format, and maintain data for litigation purposes
Coordination: Assist litigation teams with case preparation, ensuring timely submission of relevant data and filings
Support: Provide administrative support as required.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a paralegal in litigation, ideally supporting MDL cases
Familiarity with NYSCEF and Multi-District Litigation filing systems is required
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP)
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to handle document review efficiently
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Paralegal
Proficiency in Aderant and Adobe Acrobat is necessary
Familiarity with the Automated City Register Information System (ACRIS) is preferred
Knowledge and experience with Case Management Software is a must
Applicant should have experience with CompuLaw
Ability to handle billing functions effectively
Experience in briefing is required
Proficiency in calendar management is necessary
Experience in claim administration is preferred
Excellent communication skills are required
Familiarity with Multi-District Litigation is desirable
Experience in Litigation - Class Action is a plus
Knowledge of Litigation - Filing is necessary
Experience in Federal Court procedures and protocols is required
Knowledge and experience in Asbestos Litigation are desirable.
