Job Description:

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Paralegal to be a part of our team in Clark, New Jersey, United States. This role functions in the industry of commercial bankruptcy law and involves managing commercial collection files, drafting legal documents, e-filing in court systems, and interacting with clients.

Job Responsibility:

Manage and organize commercial collection files
Draft basic legal documents as required
E-file documents in the New Jersey and New York court systems
Communicate effectively with clients and handle their inquiries
Utilize skills in Calendar Management to keep track of deadlines and appointments
Ensure all customer records are maintained accurately
Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate actions when necessary.

Requirements:

Possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in a paralegal role
Proficient in calendar management, able to schedule and track appointments seamlessly
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Demonstrated understanding of legal terminology and principles
Experience in conducting comprehensive legal research
Proficient in using legal databases and software
Ability to draft and review legal documents
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Bachelor's degree in Law or related field required
Paralegal certification is a plus
Proven experience in case management
Good problem-solving skills and ability to think critically
High level of confidentiality and discretion in handling legal documents and information.
