Job Description:

Robert Half is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Part-Time Bookkeeper to assist a client. In this role, you’ll oversee a variety of accounting functions, including accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), account reconciliations, and bank reconciliations while utilizing QuickBooks Desktop. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates looking to contribute their skills on a flexible, part-time basis.

Job Responsibility:

Accounts Payable (AP): Process vendor invoices, verify accuracy, and ensure timely payments
Accounts Receivable (AR): Manage customer invoices, track incoming payments, and follow up on outstanding accounts
Account Reconciliations: Reconcile general ledger accounts to ensure financial statements are accurate and complete
Bank Reconciliations: Reconcile bank statements with records to resolve discrepancies and maintain accurate balances
QuickBooks Desktop: Organize and maintain financial data in QuickBooks Desktop, ensuring records are up-to-date and reports are generated as needed

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Bookkeeper in a similar role
Strong knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger management
Proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop (required)
Experience performing account reconciliations and bank reconciliations
Attention to detail, organizational skills, and a high level of accuracy in financial reporting
Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality
Associate's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field (preferred but not required)
