Job Description:

We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Patient Care Coordinator in the health care industry. The job location is in Willoughby, Ohio, and it requires working in-office.

Job Responsibility:

Accurately process and manage patient-related documentation and records
Handle inbound calls and schedule appointments for patients and physicians
Utilize CRM and other software like Office Suite for various administrative tasks
Perform billing functions and manage inventory stocks
Provide administrative assistance, including scanning, faxing, and uploading information to third-party portals
Deal with authorizations and benefit functions
Create invoices and maintain charts and graphs for administrative purposes
Show initiative in managing workload and maintaining an organized administrative office

Requirements:

Proficiency in using Allscripts software
Experience with Banner Ads
Knowledge of Cerner Technologies
Familiarity with CRM systems
Ability to handle answering inbound calls efficiently
Experience in processing authorizations
Understanding of benefit functions within a healthcare context
Familiarity with billing functions in a healthcare setting
Ability to create and interpret charts and graphs
Proven experience in providing administrative assistance
Prior administrative experience, preferably in a healthcare setting
Proficiency in administrative office procedures and systems
Experience in answering multi-line phone systems
Skilled in patient scheduling, ensuring smooth workflow
Experience in physician scheduling, coordinating between multiple parties effectively
