Job Description:

We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity in the finance industry for a Payroll Clerk at our workplace in Memphis, Tennessee. As a Payroll Clerk, you will be expected to manage payroll processing for our employees and collaborate with our Human Resources Team for compliance-related tasks.

Job Responsibility:

Handle the weekly payroll processing for our workforce
Utilize accounting software systems to ensure accurate payroll management
Collaborate closely with the Human Resources Team for compliance-related tasks
Enter I9 and other essential compliance information for new hires
Use ADP for financial services and payroll-related tasks
Carry out auditing tasks as needed for payroll accuracy
Manage accounting functions including Accounts Payable (AP)
Handle benefit functions related to payroll
Utilize ADP Workforce Now and other automated payroll systems
Ensure all compliance documentation is accurate and up to date

Requirements:

Minimum of 1+ years of experience as a Payroll Clerk or in a similar role
Proficient in using Accounting Software Systems
Experience with ADP - Financial Services is required
Familiarity with Dayforce software is a plus
Knowledge of About Time system is desirable
Strong understanding of Accounting Functions
Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) is essential
Auditing skills are a must
Ability to handle Benefit Functions effectively
Experience with Automated Payroll is necessary
Proficiency in using ADP Workforce Now is a must
Ability to handle Compliance documentation effectively

Nice to have:

Familiarity with Dayforce software
Knowledge of About Time system
