Job Description:

We are on the hunt for a dedicated Payroll Clerk to become part of our team within the logistics industry, based in NEW HYDE PARK, New York. This role involves the careful processing of payroll for both union and non-union employees across multiple states, utilizing ADP WorkforceNow and other accounting software systems.

Job Responsibility:

Accurately process payroll for union and non-union employees across different states
Utilize ADP WorkforceNow and other accounting software systems for payroll processing
Maintain detailed records of payroll transactions
Use Excel proficiently, including v-look ups and pivot tables, for data management
Handle accounts payable functions as required
Conduct routine audits to ensure accuracy of payroll data
Manage benefit functions related to payroll processing
Respond to and resolve any payroll-related inquiries in a timely manner

Requirements:

Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems
Familiarity with ADP Workforce Now
Knowledge of Dayforce software is a plus
Strong understanding of Accounting Functions
Experience with Accounts Payable (AP)
Ability to perform Auditing tasks
Experience in managing Benefit Functions

Nice to have:

Knowledge of Dayforce software
Ability to perform Auditing tasks
Experience in managing Benefit Functions
