Job Description:

We are seeking a Payroll Manager to oversee payroll processing and ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations for a manufacturing company in the Greater Sacramento area. The Payroll Manager will be responsible for managing and processing payroll for our workforce, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency. This role offers a very competitive compensation and benefits package as well as a hybrid work schedule.

Job Responsibility:

Process payroll for all employees using ADP in a timely and accurate manner
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations
Maintain and update employee payroll records, deductions, and benefits
Manage payroll taxes, filings, and reconciliations
Oversee wage garnishments, benefits deductions, and 401(k) contributions
Collaborate with HR and finance teams on payroll-related matters
Address employee payroll inquiries and resolve discrepancies
Generate payroll reports and assist in audits as needed
Implement payroll process improvements for efficiency and compliance

Requirements:

Must have experience in using ADP Workforce Now
Familiarity with 401k administration
Demonstrable knowledge in handling Accounting Functions is a prerequisite
An ability to perform Auditing tasks is crucial
Experience in managing Benefit Functions
