In this role, you will oversee multi-state payroll operations, ensuring strict compliance with union Collectively Bargained Agreements (CBAs) and government regulations. This position presents an exciting opportunity for individuals with a strong background in managing accounting functions and a keen eye for detail.
Job Responsibility:
Administer multi-state payroll operations with precision and timeliness
Ensure that payroll activities are in strict accordance with union CBAs and government regulations
Lead and supervise the payroll team to ensure efficient operations
Manage and maintain accurate payroll records for all employees in the organization
Handle payroll-related inquiries from employees and resolve them promptly
Monitor employee accounts and make necessary adjustments or corrections
Utilize your skills in Certified Payroll and Union Payroll to ensure compliance and accuracy
Implement and uphold best practices in payroll management within the organization
Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of payroll operations with other business functions
Requirements:
Strong understanding and experience in Accounting Functions
Proven expertise in Certified Payroll management
Experience in handling Payroll for Union employees in the construction industry
Demonstrated skills in managing and overseeing all aspects of the payroll function
Ability to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws and regulations related to payroll
Knowledgeable in payroll tax laws and filing procedures
Proficient in payroll software and systems
Strong leadership skills to manage and develop the payroll team
Excellent problem-solving skills to address payroll discrepancies
Strong communication skills to liaise with employees, unions, and relevant government bodies
Detail-oriented and ability to maintain accurate payroll records
Ability to maintain confidentiality related to payroll information
