The successful candidate will oversee payroll functions, maintain smooth office operations, and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Job Responsibility:
Full-cycle payroll processing for hourly, salaried, and contract employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations and laws
Maintain accurate payroll records, including timesheets, deductions, and adjustments
Process employee benefits deductions, garnishments, and any special payroll considerations
Reconcile payroll accounts in collaboration with the accounting team
Oversee daily office operations to ensure efficiency and productivity
Act as the primary point of contact for all office-related vendors and service providers
Manage office supply inventory and ensure the office environment is organized and professional
Coordinate employee onboarding, including training schedules and preparation of physical/digital resources
Support management with administrative tasks such as preparing reports, scheduling meetings, and maintaining records
Enforce office policies and procedures while fostering a positive work environment
Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in payroll processing and office management roles
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, human resources, accounting, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory
Proficiency in payroll systems (e.g., ADP, Paychex, or similar platforms)
Strong command of Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-service mindset
Familiarity with employment laws and payroll regulations
CPP designation is a plus
