Job Description:

The successful candidate will oversee payroll functions, maintain smooth office operations, and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

Job Responsibility:

  • Full-cycle payroll processing for hourly, salaried, and contract employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations and laws
  • Maintain accurate payroll records, including timesheets, deductions, and adjustments
  • Process employee benefits deductions, garnishments, and any special payroll considerations
  • Reconcile payroll accounts in collaboration with the accounting team
  • Oversee daily office operations to ensure efficiency and productivity
  • Act as the primary point of contact for all office-related vendors and service providers
  • Manage office supply inventory and ensure the office environment is organized and professional
  • Coordinate employee onboarding, including training schedules and preparation of physical/digital resources
  • Support management with administrative tasks such as preparing reports, scheduling meetings, and maintaining records
  • Enforce office policies and procedures while fostering a positive work environment

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in payroll processing and office management roles
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, human resources, accounting, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory
  • Proficiency in payroll systems (e.g., ADP, Paychex, or similar platforms)
  • Strong command of Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-service mindset
  • Familiarity with employment laws and payroll regulations
  • CPP designation is a plus
