Job Description:

An exciting opportunity has become available for a Payroll & Pensions Manager, working as part of a compassionate team, at an award winning, Employer of Choice in Canterbury. In this role you'll be managing the Payroll for the company of 400 employees (not managing a Payroll team), managing pensions, payroll queries, and service contracts.

Job Responsibility:

Payroll Data Management: Ensure accuracy and integrity of payroll data
Pension Administration: Manage the pension schemes with precision
Pay-Related Queries: Provide calculations and technical advice on payroll issues
Service Management: Oversee our outsourced payroll services and contracts
Life Insurance Management: Ensure our Life Insurance schemes are administered effectively

Requirements:

Proven experience managing a complex payroll function in a similar organisation
Pensions knowledge
A strong background in managing external service providers
In-depth knowledge of statutory payroll legislation and employer liabilities
Familiarity with basic UK employment legislation
Exceptional Excel skills, with the ability to simplify complex information
