Job Description:

Robert Half is assisting a construction industry client in the recruiting for a Payroll Specialist to join their dynamic payroll team. Located in Waukesha, Wisconsin area the Payroll Specialist will play a crucial role in ensuring effective payroll operations throughout the company. The role encompasses a variety of responsibilities, from managing weekly union payroll procedures to maintaining compliance and addressing employee inquiries.

Job Responsibility:

Efficiently process the company's payroll
Supervise and manage timecard review processes
Perform detailed analysis of payroll reports
Implement necessary adjustments to hours and rates
Ensure successful payroll closure through comprehensive data analysis and report verification
Address and resolve employee inquiries related to payroll
Keep compliance documentation current
Manage full cycle payroll procedures
Oversee union contracts and payroll for union workers

Requirements:

3+ years of processing full-cycle payroll
Associate or Bachelor degree in business related field or proven relevant years of experience
Experience with union payroll highly preferred
Familiarity with Union Contracts
