Job Description:

The Payroll Specialist will process multistate employee payroll, post payroll general ledger journal entries, reconcile payroll accounts, conduct monthly reporting, and answer payroll questions. The role requires working closely with the Accounting & HR teams and reporting to the VP of HR.

Job Responsibility:

Process labor corrections in Costpoint
Reconcile labor for payroll cycle
Reconcile and balance payroll and benefits-related accounts monthly
Conduct variance analyses of payroll and benefit-related accounts
Oversee multi-state payroll compliance and filings
Conduct monthly audits of benefit deductions
Prepare W2s and payroll reports monthly, quarterly, and annually

Requirements:

CPP or FPC certification
Proficiency in UKG
Experience with 401k and RRSP Administration
Experience in handling bi-Monthly Payroll
Proficiency in Full Cycle Payroll and Multistate Payroll
Ability to administer Payroll for 101 to 500 Employees
Experience in Payroll Garnishments and Multi-State Payroll
Proficiency in payroll processing and reconciliation
Experience in processing Bi-weekly Payroll
