Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist with in-depth knowledge of ADP payroll systems to join a prominent organization in Hanover, PA. The Payroll Specialist will manage the full-cycle payroll process, ensuring regulatory compliance, and handling payroll-related inquiries with professionalism and expertise.

Job Responsibility:

Accurately process payroll for employees on a bi-weekly or monthly basis using ADP payroll systems
Ensure payroll is processed in compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations
Manage and maintain accurate payroll data, including employee information, tax withholdings, benefits deductions, and direct deposit setups
Generate payroll reports, perform internal audits, and assist with external audits as required
Investigate and address employee payroll inquiries or discrepancies promptly and professionally
Coordinate with HR to ensure accurate payroll processing for benefits, garnishments, and other deductions
Prepare and submit payroll tax payments and quarterly/annual tax filings
Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance payroll efficiency and accuracy

Requirements:

Minimum 3 years of payroll processing experience, with at least 2 years specifically using ADP payroll systems
Thorough understanding of federal, state, and local wage and hour laws
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
Attention to detail and ability to manage sensitive and confidential information
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
