Job Description:

We are in search of a meticulous PC Technician to join our team in the IT Software industry, stationed in Melville, New York. As a PC Technician, your role will encompass a range of tasks including setting up workstations, managing WiFi connections, printers, and cables, as well as keeping up to date with various computer technologies. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity.

Job Responsibility:

Establish and configure workstations for optimal functionality
Install and maintain WiFi connections to ensure stable and secure internet access
Manage printers and other peripheral devices for smooth operational flow
Oversee cable installation and organization to maintain a tidy and safe working environment
Stay abreast with Dell, IBM, Linux, and Mac technologies for efficient troubleshooting and system updates
Utilize AB Testing methods for system improvements and problem-solving
Manage user accounts using Active Directory
Monitor and maintain Apple devices within the office setting
Implement backup technologies for data safety and recovery
Assist in the relocation of office equipment and systems during office moves

Requirements:

Minimum of 1+ years of experience as a PC Technician or similar role in the IT Software industry
Proven proficiency in Computer Hardware
Familiarity with Dell Technologies
Understanding of IBM systems
Experience with Linux Technologies
Ability to work with Mac Computers
Knowledge of AB Testing methods
Proficiency in using Active Directory
Experience with Apple Devices
Knowledge of Backup Technologies
Previous experience in Cable Installation is a plus
