Job Description:

Are you an organised and proactive individual with a passion for education? Our client, an esteemed Academy, is seeking a dedicated Personal Assistant to the Principal to join their team on a temporary basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a vital role in the smooth operation of the academy and contribute to a thriving educational environment!

Job Responsibility:

  • Manage the Principal's diary, scheduling meetings and coordinating appointments with precision
  • Handle emails, phone calls, and correspondence on behalf of the Principal, ensuring timely and professional communication
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and documents for various meetings, showcasing your attention to detail
  • Organise and maintain confidential records and files, upholding the highest standards of confidentiality
  • Serve as the first point of contact between the Principal and staff, parents, governors, and external stakeholders, fostering positive relationships
  • Organise school events, staff briefings, and leadership meetings, bringing enthusiasm and creativity to every occasion
  • Coordinate logistics for training days, governor meetings, and other key events, ensuring everything runs smoothly
  • Keep track of deadlines for school reports, budgets, and administrative tasks, helping the Principal stay on top of priorities

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in Bromcom to assist with administrative tasks
  • A valid Enhanced DBS certificate
  • Exceptional organisational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with a professional demeanour
  • A proactive attitude with a knack for problem-solving and a willingness to go the extra mile
