Job Description:

We are looking for a personal assistant to support a young boy with both mental and physical disabilities. Responsibilities include assisting in daily activities, ensuring safety and well-being, and caregiving tasks such as bathing, skincare, and feeding.

Job Responsibility:

Ensure client can play calmly and undisturbed
take short walks in the neighborhood and assist client
help with personal care such as changing diapers
wash client and apply lotion
ensure client receives tube feeding (training provided)
guide client in daily routines like bedtime
offer company during activities like watching TV, playing, reading stories, or listening to music
respond calmly and patiently to frustration

Requirements:

Experience with children, preferably with disabilities, or a strong affinity for caregiving
patience and ability to interpret non-verbal communication
caring, responsible, and calm attitude
physically able to assist with activities like walking or guiding with a wheelchair
flexibility and willingness to work on an on-call basis
not hesitant to perform caregiving tasks like bathing, skincare, dressing, and changing diapers
