Job Description:

As a 3rd year pharmacy intern, you work as a part of the pharmacy team under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. Responsibilities include ensuring a safe Retail Pharmacy environment, managing inventory, providing customer service, and adopting patient care programs.

Requirements:

Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
0-3 years relevant work experience
Must possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
Strong communication and presentation skills
Complete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframe
Ability to have regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
Ability to be mobile and remain upright for extended periods of time
Ability to lift, scan, and bag items
Ability to perform finger dexterity tasks such as typing or picking
Ability to reach overhead and stretch
Ability to carry out precision control tasks
Ability to stoop and use lower extremities to move items
Visual acuity for transcribing, computer use, and inspections
Ability to communicate orally with customers and colleagues
Occasional lifting of up to 20 lbs.

Nice to have:

Immunization eligibility
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
Once state regulations are met, striving to provide patient immunizations.
