Job Description:

As a 3rd year pharmacy intern, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist and have a significant role in delivering safe and effective Retail Pharmacy care. Responsibilities include ensuring patient safety, fostering collaboration, and managing pharmacy operations.

Ensure Patient Safety
Comply with Pharmacy Professional Practice and Regulatory Requirements
Manage Inventory
Provide Customer Service
Support Workflow Management excluding final prescription verification

Requirements:

Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
0-3 years relevant work experience
Must possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
Strong communication and presentation skills
Complete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframe
Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
Mobility and ability to remain upright for extended periods of time
Visual acuity and manual dexterity for tasks such as transcribing and bagging items
Ability to lift up to 20 lbs occasionally, exert up to 20 lbs of force occasionally or up to 10 lbs frequently

Nice to have:

Immunization eligibility
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
Ability to provide patient immunizations once state regulations are met
