Job Description:

As a 3rd year pharmacy intern, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist, contributing to a safe and effective Retail Pharmacy environment and ensuring exceptional patient care. Responsibilities include patient safety, professional practice, regulatory compliance, quality assurance, customer service, inventory management, and workflow management excluding final prescription verification.

Job Responsibility:

Keeping customers and patients healthy through management of patient care programs
Facilitate a team culture that promotes caring, energy, and enthusiasm
Lead with heart by displaying empathy and compassion
Seek new ways to grow and deliver better outcomes
Complete any additional tasks as directed by supervisor or manager.

Requirements:

Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
0-3 years relevant work experience
Must possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
Strong communication and presentation skills
Complete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframe
Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
Ability to remain upright for extended periods
Lift, scan, and bag items
Finger dexterity for small tasks
Reach overhead
Precision control
Visual acuity for reading and inspecting small parts
Occasional lifting up to 20 lbs.

Nice to have:

Immunization eligibility
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
