Job Description:

As a 3rd year pharmacy intern, you play a significant role in working as part of the pharmacy team, ensuring a safe and effective Retail Pharmacy work environment that delivers exceptional care to each patient. Responsibilities include patient safety, pharmacy professional practice, regulatory requirements, quality assurance, customer service, inventory management, and workflow management excluding final prescription verification.

Requirements:

Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
0-3 years relevant work experience
Must possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
Strong communication and presentation skills
Complete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframe
Have regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
Be mobile and remain upright for extended periods of time
Lift, scan, and bag items
Picking, pinching, typing or working primarily with fingers
Reach overhead
Stretch or reach out with the body, arms, and/or legs
Extend hand(s) and arm(s) multiple directions
Adjust machines to exact positions
Stoop requiring full use of the lower extremities and back muscles
Visual Acuity for transcribing, viewing a computer terminal, reading, and visual inspection
Oral communication of information and instructions
Occasional lifting of up to 20 lbs
Complete training and obtain licensure within state guidelines.

Nice to have:

Immunization eligibility
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
