Job Description:

As a 3rd year pharmacy intern, you play a critical role in ensuring a safe and effective Retail Pharmacy work environment. Responsibilities include assisting with patient care programs, displaying empathy, and fostering a team culture of energy and pride, all under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. This opportunity allows for professional growth while working toward improving health care outcomes.

Requirements:

Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
0-3 years relevant work experience
Must possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
Strong communication and presentation skills
Complete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframe
Ability to have regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
Ability to be mobile and remain upright for extended periods of time
Ability to lift, scan, and bag items
Precision control
Stoop to a considerable degree, requiring full use of the lower extremities
Visual acuity
Able to orally communicate information and instructions to colleagues and customers
Occasional lifting of up to 20 lbs.

Nice to have:

Immunization eligibility
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
Striving to provide patient immunizations once state regulations are met.
