Job Description:

As a 3rd year pharmacy intern at CVS Health, you will play a critical role within the pharmacy team, ensuring patient safety, enhancing healthcare access, and increasing quality of care. You will work under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist in a retail pharmacy environment while engaging in patient care programs, inventory and workflow management, and other essential responsibilities.

Requirements:

Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
0-3 years relevant work experience
Must possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
Strong communication and presentation skills
Complete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframe
Ability to have regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
Ability to be mobile and remain upright for extended periods of time
Ability to lift, scan and bag items
Finger Dexterity
Reach overhead
Extend hand(s) and arm(s) multiple directions
Precision control
Stoop to a considerable degree
Visual Acuity
Able to orally communicate information and instructions
Occasional lifting of up to 20 lbs
Complete any additional tasks as directed by supervisor or manager.

Nice to have:

Immunization eligibility
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
Pharmacy interns should strive to provide patient immunizations once state regulations are met.
