Job Description:

As a 3rd year pharmacy intern at CVS Health, you work under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist, focusing on patient safety, quality assurance, customer service, and inventory/workflow management. You will play a critical role in delivering exceptional care to patients while fostering a team culture committed to empathy, energy, and pride.

Job Responsibility:

Inventory management
Workflow management excluding final prescription verification

Requirements:

Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
0-3 years relevant work experience
Must possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
Strong communication and presentation skills
Complete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframe
Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
Ability to be mobile and remain upright for extended periods of time
Ability to lift, scan, and bag items
Finger Dexterity: Picking, pinching, typing or otherwise working primarily with fingers rather than whole hand or arm
Ability to reach overhead to grasp items
Extend hand(s) and arm(s) in multiple directions to place, move, or lift items
Ability to adjust machines to exact positions
Ability to bend spine at the waist to move items between low and high positions
Close visual acuity for activities like transcribing or viewing a computer terminal
Ability to orally communicate information and instructions to colleagues and customers
Occasional lifting of up to 20 lbs.

Nice to have:

Immunization eligibility
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
Striving to provide patient immunizations once state regulations are met
