Job Description:

As a 3rd year pharmacy intern at CVS Health, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist in a Retail Pharmacy setting. You will have the opportunity to deliver exceptional patient care, ensure safety, and support pharmacy operations while assisting customers.

Job Responsibility:

Keeping customers and patients healthy through patient care programs
Lead with empathy and compassion for patients, customers, caregivers, and colleagues

Requirements:

Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
0-3 years relevant work experience
Must possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
Strong communication and presentation skills
Complete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframe
Ability to have regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
Ability to be mobile and remain upright for extended periods of time
Ability to lift, scan, and bag items
Finger dexterity
Ability to reach overhead
Extend hand(s) and arm(s) multiple directions to place, move, or lift items
Precision control
Ability to stoop to a considerable degree
Visual Acuity for transcribing, viewing a computer, and reading
Able to orally communicate information and instructions effectively
Occasional lifting of up to 20 lbs
Exerting up to 20 lbs. of force occasionally and/or up to 10 lbs. of force frequently, and/or negligible force constantly.

Nice to have:

Immunization eligibility
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
Pharmacy interns striving to provide patient immunizations once state regulations are met.
