Job Description:

As a 3rd year pharmacy intern, you play a significant role in the pharmacy team by delivering exceptional patient care under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist. Responsibilities include patient safety, professional practice, regulatory compliance, customer service, inventory, and workflow management. You will be immersed in a culture aiming to change healthcare for the better.

Job Responsibility:

Keeping customers and patients healthy through adoption and management of patient care programs
Lead with heart by displaying empathy and compassion for patients, customers, caregivers, and colleagues
Seek new ways to grow, collaborate with others, and deliver better outcomes

Requirements:

Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
0-3 years relevant work experience
Must possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
Strong communication and presentation skills
Complete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframe
Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
Mobility and ability to remain upright for extended periods of time
Lift, scan, and bag items
Finger dexterity for picking, pinching, typing, etc.
Reach overhead or stretch to grasp items
Precision control for adjusting machines
Stooping and bending at the waist
Visual acuity for transcribing, viewing computer terminals, and reading
Oral communication skills to inform colleagues and customers
Occasionally lift up to 20 lbs and exert negligible force constantly to move objects

Nice to have:

Immunization eligibility
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
Striving to provide patient immunizations once state regulations are met
