Job Description:

As a 3rd year pharmacy intern, you will work under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist to ensure a safe Retail Pharmacy environment; Key responsibilities include patient care, inventory management, and quality assurance.

Job Responsibility:

Conduct patient care programs.

Requirements:

Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
0-3 years relevant work experience
Must possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
Strong communication and presentation skills
Complete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframe
Ability to have regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
Ability to be mobile and remain upright for extended periods of time
Ability to lift, scan, and bag items
Ability in finger dexterity, reaching overhead, precision control, stooping, and oral communication
Occasional lifting of up to 20 lbs.

Nice to have:

Immunization eligibility
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
Once state regulations are met, pharmacy interns should strive to provide patient immunizations.
