Job Description:

As a 3rd year pharmacy intern at CVS Health, you will work under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist to deliver safe and effective care in a Retail Pharmacy setting. Responsibilities include ensuring a safe pharmacy work environment, patient safety, customer service, inventory management, and meeting regulatory and quality assurance requirements. This role emphasizes patient care programs, professional practice, and collaboration within a pharmacy team.

Requirements:

Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
0-3 years relevant work experience
Must possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
Strong communication and presentation skills
Complete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframe
Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
Be mobile and remain upright for extended periods of time
Lift, scan, and bag items
Finger Dexterity: Picking, pinching, typing or otherwise working primarily with fingers rather than whole hand or arm
Reach overhead
Extend hand(s) and arm(s) multiple directions
Precision control for adjusting machines
Stoop to a considerable degree to move items between low and high positions
Visual acuity for transcribing and viewing a computer terminal
Oral communication of information and instructions
Occasional lifting of up to 20 lbs

Nice to have:

Immunization eligibility
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
