Job Description:

As a 3rd year pharmacy intern, under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist, you play a critical role in ensuring a safe and effective retail pharmacy environment. Responsibilities include patient safety, pharmacy professional practice, regulatory compliance, quality assurance, customer service, inventory management, and workflow management (excluding final prescription verification).

Requirements:

Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
0-3 years relevant work experience
Must possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
Strong communication and presentation skills
Complete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframe
Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
Ability to be mobile and remain upright for extended periods of time
Ability to lift, scan, and bag items
Finger Dexterity
Ability to reach overhead and stretch to grasp items
Precision control to adjust machines
Visual Acuity for reading and inspecting
Ability to orally communicate information and instructions
Occasional lifting of up to 20 lbs
Ability to stoop and use lower extremities for movement.

Nice to have:

Immunization eligibility
proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
striving to provide patient immunizations.
