Job Description:

As a 3rd year pharmacy intern at CVS Health, you will play a key role in providing safe and effective healthcare in a Retail Pharmacy setting under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. Responsibilities include delivering exceptional care, ensuring compliance, managing inventory, and supporting patients through care programs.

Job Responsibility:

Lead with heart and display empathy for patients, customers, and team members
Grow, collaborate, and deliver outcomes
Promote team culture with energy, enthusiasm, and pride
Ensure safety and effectiveness in Retail Pharmacy work environment
Manage patient care programs through adoption and monitoring
Ensure regulatory compliance and quality assurance
Handle customer service
Manage inventory and workflow excluding final prescription verification

Requirements:

Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
0-3 years relevant work experience
Must possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
Strong communication and presentation skills
Complete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframe
Regular and predictable attendance including nights and weekends
Ability to remain upright for extended periods of time
Ability to lift, scan, and bag items
Finger dexterity to perform detailed tasks
Visual acuity for close inspection and computer work
Ability to orally communicate instructions and information
Occasional lifting of up to 20 lbs

Nice to have:

Preferred immunization eligibility
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
Striving to provide patient immunizations once state regulations are met
