Job Description:

As a 3rd year pharmacy intern, you work as a part of the pharmacy team delivering CVS Health's purpose, modeling values, and providing genuine, authentic care for patients. Responsibilities include tasks such as patient safety, regulatory compliance, quality assurance, customer service, inventory management, and workflow management under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.

Requirements:

Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
0-3 years relevant work experience
Must possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
Strong communication and presentation skills
Complete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframe
Ability to have regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
Ability to be mobile and remain upright for extended periods of time
Ability to lift, scan, and bag items
Ability to pick, pinch, type or otherwise work primarily with fingers
Ability to reach overhead
Ability to extend hand(s) and arm(s) multiple directions to place, move, or lift items
Ability to adjust machines to exact positions
Ability to stoop and bend spine at the waist
Close visual acuity for activities such as transcribing, viewing a computer terminal, and reading
Ability to orally communicate information and instructions to colleagues and customers
Occasional lifting of up to 20 lbs and moving objects with up to 20 lbs of force occasionally.

Immunization eligibility
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
