Job Description:

As a 3rd year pharmacy intern at CVS Health, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to ensure a safe and effective Retail Pharmacy environment. Responsibilities include ensuring patient safety, regulatory compliance, quality assurance, and customer service. You will lead with empathy, collaborate with colleagues, and facilitate a caring team culture.

Requirements:

Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
0-3 years relevant work experience
Must possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
Strong communication and presentation skills
Complete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframe
Have regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
Be mobile and remain upright for extended periods of time
Lift, scan, and bag items
Precision control: able to adjust machines to exact positions
Visual Acuity: Close visual acuity to perform activities such as: transcribing, viewing a computer terminal, reading, visual inspection involving small parts
Occasional lifting of up to 20 lbs.

Nice to have:

Immunization eligibility
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
Pharmacy interns striving to provide patient immunizations as state regulations are met.
