Job Description:

As a 3rd year pharmacy intern at CVS Health, you will work under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist, contributing to patient care, inventory management, and workflow optimization in a retail pharmacy setting. Responsibilities include ensuring patient safety, managing customer interactions, and promoting a team-focused culture.

Job Responsibility:

Ensure patient safety and assist with pharmacy professional practice
Adhere to regulatory requirements and quality assurance
Provide customer service
Manage inventory
Oversee workflow management excluding final prescription verification
Participate in adoption and management of patient care programs

Requirements:

Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
0-3 years relevant work experience
Must possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
Strong communication and presentation skills
Complete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframe
Ability to have regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
Be mobile and remain upright for extended periods of time
Lift, scan, and bag items
Finger dexterity for detailed work
Reach overhead and stretch out with body, arms, and/or legs
Precision control for adjusting machines to exact positions
Stoop to considerable degree for moving items
Close visual acuity for transcribing and computer-related tasks
Oral communication of information and instructions
Occasional lifting of up to 20 lbs

Nice to have:

Immunization eligibility
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
Ability to provide patient immunizations once state regulations are met
