Job Description:

As a 3rd year pharmacy intern at CVS Health, you will work under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist as part of a pharmacy team. Responsibilities include ensuring patient safety, managing workflows, aligning with regulatory requirements, and quality assurance. The internship will include tasks such as customer service, inventory management, and fostering a productive team culture.

Requirements:

Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
0-3 years relevant work experience
Must possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
Strong communication and presentation skills
Complete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframe
Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
Ability to be mobile and remain upright for extended periods of time
Lift, scan, and bag items
Finger dexterity for tasks like typing or working with small objects
Ability to reach overhead
Ability to extend hands and arms in multiple directions
Precision control for adjusting machines
Stoop and bend to move items
Visual acuity for activities such as transcribing and reading on a computer screen
Able to orally communicate information and instructions to colleagues and customers
Occasional lifting of up to 20 lbs.

Nice to have:

Immunization eligibility
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
Ability to provide patient immunizations once state regulations are met
