Job Description:

As a 3rd year pharmacy intern at CVS Health, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist, playing a critical role in a Retail Pharmacy work environment to ensure exceptional patient care. Responsibilities include patient safety, professional practice, regulatory compliance, quality assurance, customer service, inventory management, and workflow management. Interns develop professional skills, contribute to patient care programs, and promote team culture.

Requirements:

Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
0-3 years relevant work experience
Must possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
Strong communication and presentation skills
Complete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframe
Ability to have regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
Ability to be mobile and remain upright for extended periods of time
Ability to lift, scan, and bag items
Finger Dexterity: Picking, pinching, typing or otherwise working primarily with fingers
Reach overhead to grasp items
Precision control: Adjust machines to exact positions
Stoop to a considerable degree and use lower extremities to move items between low and high positions
Visual Acuity: Transcribing, viewing a computer terminal, reading, visual inspection of small parts
Orally communicate information and instructions to colleagues and customers
Occasionally lift up to 20 lbs, exert up to 20 lbs of force occasionally or up to 10 lbs frequently, or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects.

Nice to have:

Immunization eligibility
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
Should strive to provide patient immunizations after meeting state regulations.
