Job Description:

The Pharmacy Intern will work under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist to deliver exceptional care in a Retail Pharmacy environment. Responsibilities include ensuring patient safety, meeting regulatory requirements, and promoting customer service. This role is ideal for 3rd-year pharmacy students enrolled in an ACPE accredited program and provides opportunities for professional growth and contributions to improved health care.

Requirements:

Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
0-3 years relevant work experience
Must possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
Strong communication and presentation skills
Complete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframe
Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
Ability to be mobile and remain upright for extended periods of time
Ability to lift, scan, and bag items
Finger Dexterity: Picking, pinching, typing or otherwise working primarily with fingers
Ability to reach overhead and stretch
Precision control: Adjusting machines to exact positions
Stoop to a considerable degree, including bending spine at the waist
Visual Acuity for transcribing and viewing a computer terminal
Occasional lifting of up to 20 lbs
Ability to complete tasks as directed by supervisor.

Nice to have:

Immunization eligibility
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
Ability to provide patient immunizations once state regulations are met.
